Andrew Galarneau, an independent digital journalist offering his food report at fourbites.net, invites you to dig into Sudanese cuisine on June 18 at the Downtown Bazaar. In this monthly series, enjoy a culinary exploration at Downtown Bazaar, each featuring a cuisine that you can sample, savor, and explore, led by Andrew.
Sudanese 101 will be held from 5 - 6 pm and will feature Nile River Restaurant. Chef-owner Akec Aguer will welcome guests with his signature South Sudanese dishes: Sukuma wiki (vegetarian), Halal beef, Ful, South Sudanese BBQ chicken, Sambusas (beef and vegetable), and Basta.
